Home is my favorite place to be. Our home is multi-generational. My parents and my grandmother moved in with us in 1994. My husband, Michael and I have four sons. They are amazing kids. As you may guess, this is a busy place.
For years now, my father and Michael have run a small furniture business and antique shop out of our old chicken coop on Rte #2 in Grand Isle, VT called The Wooden Flag. This business truly involves our whole family. Michael, Dad and the boys build tables, flags, birdhouses and all kinds of things from reclaimed wood. My mother paints, one sister is a potter, and another can knit just about anything. Though my brother may not build furniture or create art, he does make a habit of saving lives as a professional firefighter.
On Fridays all of my siblings come with their children to spend the day. Cars start rolling in our yard around 8:00 AM, and the last one leaves about 7:00 PM after a dinner together. A lot of friends stop by on Fridays too. This really is a crazy place, but crazy in a good way.
Primitive Grace exists only because I am greatly blessed with a family and friends who constantly support and encourage me. It's because of their faith in me and my faith in God I am able to create these patterns and make them available to you.
All designs are hand drawn on quality, natural colored linen. I realize linen is more expensive, but I believe it is best, as it will produce an heirloom quality work of art. All raw edges
will be turned and machine sewn to prevent fraying. Main Page | Photo Gallery | Contact Primitive Grace | Catalogues | Order Form | New From PG |
